Every workstation (end device) on which slideroom is installed in Microsoft PowerPoint is counted as a user. It is possible to work with one user in both the local desktop app and the online version of PowerPoint. However, if you want to use slideroom on different workstations (end devices), additional users are required.

slideroom is available in German and English as standard. Any other languages are possible with the "Enterprise" subscription.

Microsoft Entra Connect Sync is a powerful tool from Microsoft that synchronizes directories and identities within a company. It enables centralized management of all users in the Azure Active Directory (AAD) environment. Thanks to the integration of Microsoft Entra Connect Sync, companies can fully automate the registration and management of slideroom users.

To individualize slideroom, the slideroom logo can be replaced with a company logo in the PowerPoint add-in (file formats: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg).

For company-specific individualization of slideroom, the accent color for highlighting information can be exchanged for any company color.

In the free version, the number of uploads in the media pool is limited. In all other subscriptions, the number of uploads is unlimited.

We have integrated the three leading platforms for free and royalty-free images (Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash) into slideroom via an interface. This means you can access more than 5 million images directly in slideroom and insert them into your presentation at the click of a mouse, already compressed for PowerPoint.

To reduce the file size of PowerPoint presentations, we compress all images in the media pool to "High Definition" (HD | 1,920 x 1,080 pixels) as soon as they are uploaded. This guarantees the best possible quality with minimum file size. The average file size of images after compression is approx. 0.2 - 0.3 MB.

All categories in slideroom (online images, AI Studio, etc.) can be hidden if desired in order to provide only the desired content and functions within your team or company.

Each user can create individual (personal) favorites to quickly access frequently used images, icons, presentations or slides.

In slideroom's media pool, the most recently used files (images, icons, presentations, slides, etc.) are displayed individually for each user in chronological order so that the most recently used files can be accessed quickly.

With the mass upload, any number of files can be uploaded in one go using "drag&drop".

There are two superordinate roles in slideroom: Administrators (in any number) for the central provision of media in the media pool and PowerPoint users who use the provided media in PowerPoint with slideroom.

In addition, further subgroups of PowerPoint users can be defined in the "Business" and "Enterprise" subscriptions, which, unlike all other users, can then access special areas of the media pool (e.g. confidential presentations).

AI credits are the digital "currency" for implementing functions in the AI Studio. One AI credit corresponds to the text optimization or translation of a text field, for example. The optimization or translation of all text fields on a slide is charged at a flat rate of three AI credits. The complete text optimization or translation of a PowerPoint presentation with 15 slides therefore corresponds to 45 AI credits (15 slides x 3 AI credits per slide).

The total number of AI credits available is calculated based on the selected subscription and the number of users. For example, with 10 users in the "Business" subscription, a total of 10,000 AI credits (10 users x 1,000 AI credits) are available per month. The AI credits are available to the entire organization and can be used by users in varying numbers up to a total of 10,000 AI credits.

With the help of artificial intelligence, slideroom optimizes existing texts (more promotional, more modern, more interesting, more formal, etc.). The user can choose between different writing styles (tonalities). Texts can also be summarized or expanded.

The CD-Check analyzes every slide in your PowerPoint presentation at the touch of a button and checks it for compliance with your corporate design specifications (font check, color check, formatting, etc.). Transfer the size of a reference object to all other objects with a single mouse click or adjust a single object to the slide size, for example, to fill the entire slide with an image.

We have extended PowerPoint's standard export options. For example, you can save selected slides in any pixel size as an image file (ideal for visual assets or digital publications) or export all images, icons and videos from your presentation to use them elsewhere or optimize their file size.
